Tiffany and Rajbir’s wedding weekend closed the way it began, with intention. Two days earlier, a tea ceremony marked her family’s traditions at her parents’ home. A full Sikh Anand Karaj carried them through his. For their third and final day, they turned to something different. A civil ceremony and reception at Monserate Winery in Fallbrook. This Monserate Winery wedding photographer was there to capture all of it, upscale, editorial, and entirely their own.
Tiffany met Rajbir as hospital residents in New York, she in pharmacy, he in general surgery. He proposed years later on the Brooklyn Bridge, with a photographer quietly waiting to catch it. Their wedding was planned by Simran Dhesi of LeeLa Events, working out of London. Coverage ran eighteen hours across three days for 175 to 200 guests. This final day was built in the language of a classic luxury wedding. A tailored gown, a waterfall ceremony, and a reception with the kind of polish that belongs in the pages of a magazine.
A First Look and Portraits by the Waterfall
Tiffany got ready in a sun-filled room. A cathedral veil lifted into place before a quiet first look with Rajbir on the property. One detail carried straight through from the two days before. The mehndi from her sangeet night was still visible on her hands and arms in every portrait. A quiet thread tying all three days together. She carried a cascading bouquet of white phalaenopsis orchids. Portraits continued at one of the estate’s defining features, a full, multi-tiered stone waterfall tumbling into a koi pond. The couple returned there again at golden hour for a set of portraits that would not look out of place in a magazine. Tiffany’s veil lit from behind as Rajbir held her close at the water’s edge.
A Ceremony at the Water’s Edge
Rows of white chairs faced the waterfall directly. The ceremony arch stood right at the water’s edge, the vineyard rolling out behind it. Guests were seated as Rajbir, then Tiffany, made their entrance. Their civil ceremony was shorter and quieter than the two heritage celebrations before it, a deliberate contrast. It closed with a petal toss exit into the late afternoon light.
Cocktails in the Barrel Room
Cocktail hour moved indoors to Monserate’s barrel room. Stone archways and walls of wine barrels set the backdrop for craft cocktails and quiet conversation. Tucked into one empty barrel nearby was a quiet tribute. A seating chart displayed alongside small framed photos of loved ones who couldn’t be there, including a beloved family pet. It was a small detail, and one of the most meaningful in the whole celebration.
A Reception Built for Celebration
Dinner opened with the couple’s entrance and a cake cutting. A first course, speeches, a main course, and more speeches followed before dessert. Partway through the evening, Tiffany changed into a champagne and gold lehenga, heavily beaded, with a sheer dupatta draped over one shoulder. She gave an emotional toast of her own, caught mid-speech in a warm embrace with one of her guests. Around the room, other guests moved through the evening in their own vibrant formalwear, saris and lehengas in jewel tones alongside black-tie classics. It was a continuation of the color that had defined the first two days. A first dance and a parent dance followed before the floor opened and stayed full late into the night.
Three Days, One Story
On its own, this day was a polished, upscale Monserate Winery wedding. The kind of gown, light, and design that belongs in a magazine spread. Placed at the end of a three-day celebration, it became something more. The final chapter in a weekend that had already carried Tiffany and Rajbir through a tea ceremony, a sangeet, and a full Sikh wedding. That continuity stayed visible in the henna on her hands and in the lehenga she wore to close out the night. Looking back, the bride described the finished gallery simply: classy, timeless, editorial, and still very much them.
