Six Years in the Making
Sol and Rony’s intimate City Hall elopement in San Francisco came after six years together in Vancouver. The Look
For their intimate City Hall elopement, Sol wore a strapless sweetheart gown from Romanova Atelier, with a flowing skirt, a train, and a high slit. She paired it with statement pearl earrings and embellished, pointed-toe Christian Louboutin heels. She wanted the photos to include her shoes too. Her hair fell in a low, clean ponytail, with natural glam makeup by Fiona Tsang Beauty. Rony, meanwhile, wore dark, tailored menswear from Canali: a crisp white shirt, dark tie, white pocket square, and polished dress shoes.
Where They Said “I Do”
Their intimate City Hall elopement moved at its own rhythm. First came the grand staircase, with shots from below, mid-ascent, and looking down from above to show its full scale. From there, they moved to the patterned glass windows. Soft light settled over quiet, seated portraits there, including a still life of Sol’s shoes on the windowsill. Next came the brass elevator doors, the setting for a few playful, private moments. Finally, the upper level’s stone arches and balustrades added a little more scale and drama to the portraits.
A Day to Frame
