Golden Gate Bridge Engagement Session at Baker Beach + Battery Spencer Outlook
This dreamy San Francisco engagement session took place at two of the most iconic coastal locations in the Bay Area. We began at Baker Beach, where soft light met the shoreline and the Golden Gate Bridge arched in the distance. As a San Francisco engagement photographer, I always love the contrast of raw nature with the structure of the city beyond.
Jack and Lorrie were relaxed and present from the very beginning. They walked barefoot along the beach, taking in the fresh breeze and warm sand. Every look, every quiet laugh, came naturally. Their chemistry made every frame feel honest and effortless.
From there, we headed up to the Battery Spencer Outlook. This spot offers a stunning aerial view of the Golden Gate Bridge, with the full city behind it. It’s one of the most beautiful perspectives in San Francisco. The golden hour glow created silhouettes that felt soft and cinematic. The movement of their session, paired with the dramatic landscape, gave us a gallery rich with story and light.
I love this combination of Baker Beach and Battery Spencer for engagement sessions. Together, they bring texture and dimension. One is earthy and grounded, the other vast and elevated. That blend allows space for both intimacy and grandeur.
Whether you’re planning a proposal, an engagement session, or simply want to document this season of your love, these two San Francisco locations deliver unmatched beauty. If you’re drawn to film tones and intentional storytelling, this might be the perfect place to begin.
